1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the DB Upstage website (the "Site") and by registering or nominating an entry, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

• You must be an Indian resident.
• You must own a public social media profile with at least 1,000 followers on your primary platform.

3. Registration & Nomination Window

Registrations and nominations open 10 August 2026 and close 08 September 2026 (IST). Late entries will not be considered. We may extend the last date of registration at our discretion.

4. Original Content & IP

By submitting a nomination, you warrant that the submitted content is your original creation and that you hold all required rights, including music, footage and likeness rights.

5. Usage Rights & Publicity

By participating, the creator grants DB Corp Ltd.:

• Worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and promote the submitted content.
• Rights for editorial, promotional, and marketing usage.
• Permission for media features, interviews & publicity activities.
• Social media posts will be executed as branded content features.

6. Disqualification

DB Corp Ltd. reserves the right to disqualify any entry that, in its sole discretion, is found to contain false or misleading information, or is plagiarised, AI-spammed, defamatory, obscene, hateful, in violation of applicable law, involves artificial engagement manipulation, or is otherwise offensive, inappropriate or restricted content, or that breaches the platform guidelines of Instagram, Facebook or YouTube.

7. Judging & Awards

Entries will be evaluated by a panel constituted by DB Corp Ltd. on parameters including originality, craft, narrative, engagement and audience response. The jury's decision is final and binding.

8. Limitation of Liability

DB Corp Ltd. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your participation in DB Upstage or your use of the Site, to the maximum extent permitted by law. DB Corp Ltd. is not responsible for technical errors or submission failures. Awards are provided on an "as-is" basis without guarantees. Participation is at the participant's own risk.

9. Modifications

DB Corp Ltd. may revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

11. General Clauses

• Participation does not guarantee selection or winning.
• Jury decisions are final and non-contestable.
• Awards Management reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the awards.
• Winners will be notified in advance for travel and logistics planning.
• Travel and accommodation costs are borne by winners unless specified.
